Duncan Crawford
Manager – Supported Housing & Community Support
I have worked in Sandwell since 2007 in various roles within the homelessness sector especially enjoying working at a fast pace with probation and the police as their housing co-ordinator for repeat offenders but also being equally happy sitting on Reception in a busy hostel down a Smethwick side-street.
My relationship with SHARP started in 2008 as they were very supportive with housing the offenders that other providers were reluctant to accommodate, and I developed a strong working relationship with them.
I joined SHARP in 2019, and at the end of 2020 became manager of SHARP’s mental health floating support service and supported accommodation scheme in Smethwick and swiftly strengthened our working relationship with SMBC’s Homeless Team and other agencies within Sandwell.
