What Our Beneficiaries Think
We surveyed the beneficiaries of The Gables hostel in April 2025.
19 people were asked 7 questions and we received 15 replies.
14 out of 15 respondents said they enjoyed living at the The Gables and almost all had an optimistic view of their future.

Ideas for what the beneficiaries would like to change included:
The staff held a customer meeting and everyone was happy with the following actions:
- Rooms are repainted as they are vacated.
- Light blue roller blinds in some rooms were replaced with white wooden wide-slat venetian blinds to allow more light in .
- Basic cooking sessions were introduced.
- Regular pool/darts/table tennis competitions were started.
- The corridors and reception were redecorated and now feature bright art prints on the wall.
The next annual beneficiaries survey will be conducted in April 2026
